Peyton lost a tooth

Peyton finally lost one of his front teeth after it hung on for weeks! I really was about to call the dentist and see if he could pull it because it would just hang there and he didn't want us to pull it. Our cousin Shana suggested putting dental floss around it so the "x" of the floss was in the back and then pull both ends of the floss at the same time. On Sunday night (3/16/08) Peyton let us do that and....pop his tooth flew out! Great suggestion! It was fun that he lost his tooth on St. Patricks Dad Eve b/c the tooth fairy (thanks to some nice neighbors providing the tooth fairy with change for a $20 at 10PM) gave Peyton 5 shiny gold dollar coins. (man-the cost of the tooth fairy has really gone up-however the tooth fairy usually only gives $1, but come on it was a front tooth!) He was thrilled and kept saying that either the tooth fairy wanted to remind him it was St. Patricks Day or the Leprachanus took over for the tooth fairy that day. What an imagination!
